2015-2016 School Year

Welcome Back!   Welcome back to the start of the 2015-2016 school year!  This year promises to be a great year as we set high expectations for student learning.  Our administrators, teachers and staff are ready to engage and motivate our students in learning.  By working together, teachers, students, and parents/guardians can make a difference. We encourage you to join our PTA and to take advantage of opportunities to be involved in your child’s education.  We appreciate your support as your child enters the classroom, learns, and grows through the year.  As we begin our new school year, it is important to start helping your child to set good habits.  Make sure that your child is getting to bed on time so that he/she can come to school well rested and ready to work.  Make sure your child gets a good breakfast each day.  (Breakfast is served in our school cafeteria every morning from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 a. m.) Help your child get organized for school by having a place set aside to do homework with all the needed supplies. This consistency will help establish a routine for your child and help him/her be more organized and to be better prepared for school each day. Our Parent/Student Handbook outlines procedures and policies at Kelley Lake (A copy has been placed on our website) It also has important information about expectations for student behavior and responsibility. We look forward to a great school year!!
